Future/Arts Institutes Reflection

in the future, as a career, I would like to create realistic exhibits for museums, such as the Smithsonian. I would love to be able to travel around the world, and  come face to face with exotic wildlife, and nature, I would have otherwise, not seen. I don't really care how much money I make in the future, I just want to be happy, as long as I don't have a wife, or family, I don't really care weather I'm poor or not, I just want to do whatever makes me happy.

colour inspired pieces

Grey
It was  a quiet white morning
The mountain was ash gray
I had a pocket full of white sand
And a cut crystal in my hand
the sun was like silver celesta
The Japanese windflowers were blowing
as I grabbed the jewelers lavender gem

Green
We had a field day
with ripe, native green bananas
and bitter sour apples
with prickly green pears around us
the colour of a delightful spring green
we heard a musical spring promenade
as we listened from the mountain edelweiss

Dazzling Daffodil
Dazzling Daffodil
yellow flower in the sun
growing very tall

Shell (Colour Story)

Shell (colour Story)

The shell was a pearlescent blue. The same Shell I found almost a year ago, while walking along the tick, wooded river. Trying to cross its deep waters, I had fallen head first, and was swept down the rushing river. As I was washed down the river for what felt like hours, I hit almost every log, rock, and any type of debris that seemed to be in the lake. I was eventually thrown into the mud, but had no strength to get up. I laid there for hours in pain, and finally fell asleep. When I awoke, there was a shining blue and gold object in the mud, laying as if it wanted to be found. As I slowly, and painfully got up, I walked over to it and picked it up.

Here it is now in the golden country of Burma. The shell had made me realize that I had almost died before I had even gotten to do anything with my life. With the cold shell in my backpack, I have been traveling the world, and doing things I’d never thought I would have done a year ago. I feel like ever since I almost died, I have been alive. Visiting, India, Russia, Canada, China, Australia, Iceland, Burma, and so many more, I want to feel every experience I possibly can before I die.

This beautiful shell brought colour into my grey life, and opened my eyes to so much more in the world. Before it, I had never really known what I wanted to do with my life, but as soon as I found it, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. It is probably the best thing that has happened to me in my life, and I would never give it up for anything. As long as this shell still exists, I will keep traveling.

I Am...

I Am…
I am young, not yet an adult, but no longer a child. I am 17 years old.
I am an artist, always creating, always thinking.
A student in high school, constantly working, trying to find a career to pursue his likeness in art.
I am an octopus, always exploring, innovating, and discovering in way that others do not, doing multiple things at one time.
I am running water, going where I need to be going, whatever way, as long as I’m dedicated.
I am a brother, two two younger children. Fighting, and playing, with no reason, but forced to live together.
I am
A young baobab, growing slowly, only to become a great, tall tree full of age and wisdom, in a dry environment.
A pen, drawing with no direction what so ever, but coming together to make as beautiful picture.
I am like a heron, and do not enjoy being in groups of people for long.
I am modern, owning many new devices, and staying updated with technology.
I am like an otter, and always like to have fun.
I am from the nation of Zulu, and support others in the Race.
I am a huge family, spread across the country, pursuing new dreams.
I am confusing, as most people do not understand how I think.
I am loving, and can never stand to put somebody down.
I am the sum of all of my choices through my life, and that’s what I’ll continue to be.
